About Us
We are a long established family run business, now in its 85th year of trading in the picturesque seaside town of Blyth. Starting with just £50.00 leant from his sister-in-law Ethel Crowe, Crowe & Atkinson was originally established in 1923 by Harry Atkinson to provide ice and meat to the departing freight ships.
Since then, the business has grown and grown and now does a brisk retail trade as well taking on commercial contracts. Today the business is run by Harry's grandson Graham, his wife Christina and son Mathew.
As a quality butchers providing a professional and personal service to our customers, we prepare everything on the premises including our own cooked meats. We also specialise in deep freeze meats and multiple orders.
